  • For a while in early 1999 was back on top form due to being taken over by the couple who run the Cricketers, after a period in limbo. See Cambridge Pub News in ALE 293.
  • Used to be a wonderful little pub for many years until the landlord changed in mid-1997 (and the pub refurbished). For instance it featured a proper vinyl 45rpm juke box with a selection to match.
