From: <hagfish@email.unc.edu> Date: Saturday, January 22, 2005 5:11 PM I have a quick question regarding the Topo D. Bill single. Are the versions of "Witchi Tai to" and "Jam" from the Meet The Bonzos bootleg the same as the origianl 1969 single? Back in the golden age of Napster, I aquired mp3s of both of the Topo D. Bill tracks, but as they are obviously "Oo-Chuck-A-Mao-Mao" and "What Noise Annoys A Noisy Oyster" respectively, I assume they must have originally come from the bootleg. Is the bootleg wrong, or are they actually the same songs? Thanks for your help.
From: <admin.dogtoothmedia@researchcentre.co.uk> Sent: Wednesday, November 17, 2004 12:58 PM Subject: CHANNEL 4 DOC Dogtooth Media are producing four short films for Channel Four based around famous and iconic images from British pop culture. One of the photos we are very interested in featuring is the backstage shot following the Plastic Ono Band performance in 1969. Each of the films would feature an short interview with one of the individuals in the photo reflecting on their involvement in the event as we as their recollections of the other people featured. We are not looking for the contributor to be an oracle on every aspect of the photo but more to provide an eye witness testimony to convey the mood and the unique collection of individuals assembled in the photo. We would very much like to speak to 'Legs' Larry Smith about the Plastic Ono Band performance and what he recalls from that famous night and specifically that iconic groupshot. I would wondering if you could suggest how to contact 'Legs' regarding this matter. Look forward to hearing from you All the best Lorna Lithgow
